Global Mart International is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for you to take part in the "put your city on our map" contest by building web pages about your city and win $100,000. Share the wonders of your city and be eligible for prizes. Over $160,000 will be awarded to the best sites.
It is your life time opportunity to become partnership with MiEarth.com. Successful candidate can share no less than 30% of all advertisement revenue earned from your submitted site.
Rules on Content
Logo: Our trade-marked

the top left corner of your home page. e.g.:
Size: Six to sixteen pages.
Content: Mainly about various aspects of your city such as the scenery,
economy, politics, culture and social customs. There should be at least eight
links on your home page.
Language: English.
Requirements: Entries are to be completed by groups of one to five
peole. You are required to use a combination of text, pictures, graphics,
images, 3D, video or audio format, or other possible methods. Audio and video
files should be in such standard formats as .avi, .rm, .mpg, etc. and all
the contents should be supported by IE 4.0 or higher.
You are permitted to have some of the others' webpages linked to your entry.
However, once your contribution is adopted, we shall own absolutely all the
rights to your work. We shall be authorized to make any alterations or modifications
to your work that we see fit without prior consultation.
Copyright: All work including text, graphics, images and pictures used
in your submission should be of your own work or obtained through proper legal
methods. We shall not be responsible for any copyright infringment or any
legal liability associated with your work.

Participant Qualification: This competition is open to anyone 13 years of age or older in any country of the world, with the exception of Miearth.com employees, judges and their relatives who are not eligible.
Entry Fee: $50 Canadian or $35 US.
Notice: We reserve the right to extend the closing date, terminate or cancel the contest without individual notification of the participants if less than 2000 entries have been submitted to the contest or the cities having been covered total less than 500 in number. Should there be any changes to the contest they will be posted on our website. Entries that are not selected to be winners may be, at our discretion, destroyed rather than returned to the owners.
Contest Schedule
This contest consists of three key time periods: the first for submission of entries, judging will take place during the second and finally the winners will be announced. Please refer to the schedule below for details. All the entries must be mailed to us at our mail address before January 31, 2002. A team of professionals will be brought in to assess all the submissions after the deadline. The winners will be notified via emails and we will also post a list of winners on our websites.

Announcing Date
All registrants and submissions will be linked or listed in the Participant list that can be sorted by city so that you can view the contributions of others.
Judging Standard
Judging will be conducted by a group of qualified professional experts.
The contributions will be judged
according to the following criteria:
The richness and value of the content.
The artistic merits of the website.
The significance and clear presentation of your particular city.

Prizes:
1.Successful candidate can share no less than 30% of advertisement
revenue earned from his submitted website.
2.The first place (one award) is $100,000.
3.Second place (30 awards) is $2,000.
4.Those participants whose websites are selected to represent their
citieson the MiEarth.com map will be awarded
$500.
5.It should be noted that the above prizes are before-tax gross-payments
and are to be paid in Canadian fund.
6.The other qualified submitters who are not selected to represent their
cities may be offered support by the organizers to launch their sites
regardless of if awards are received or not.
